RE: kinda cool
iv seen this truck at my lhs, it seems ok. i would compare it to a fully loaded traxxas nitro sport. what im saying is it is not the best, stongest, or fastest truck for the money. but it does all things well. if it had come out before i had gotten a nitro sport i would have bought it instead. the push boutton start and electric reverse are nice, i hated running after my nitro sport. and when starting in nitro, i had trouble with getting the fuel mixture right so running to get the truck happened too often. for the money, only $280 at my lhs, thats only $50 more than a nitro sport. again, for a beginer i think it would be a good truck.

Their site says it is a 2 chanell radio, I wonder how you use the remote start? Turn the tires all the way to one side?
It looks like a cheapy

RE: kinda cool
I think this car should be taken exactly as the name says. "Recreation"... Not for the more serious RC'r.
That said... It is nice to see guys like Sportwerks bring out a car like this for entry level people. I would not have minded some of these feature when I was just starting out! The reverse especially will help a lot of newbies. So will the one pack for RX/Glow starter.

its right on the site, it uses a 7.2v NiNH to power the remote starter, receiver and glow plug.

Both are 7.2v Ni-mhs...................voltage and chemistry don't determine size.
