Starter box battery charging question...
I have a Ofna Chrome top starter box with a 12 volt 7ah gell cell battery. My question is How many Amps should I charge this battery at? The charger I have will charge Lead Acid Pb at .01 amps to 5 amps...
Also does anyone know if they make a charge level indicator for the starter box? So you know when to recharge it... Or how to make one picking up parts from radio shack...

RE: Starter box battery charging question...
I charge Pb's between C/10 and C/20. For a 7Ah battery, that would be .35A to .7A.
You could use a voltmeter to check the level of charge in your 12v Pb.
Fully charged they should read greater than 12.6v. Empty they will read below about 11.8v. I recharge around 12.0v
