personally, I wouldnt even use just monocote on that small a plane. Most park flyers that are covered in film use special light film. I would think if you used mono or ultracote, and painted over it, it would make the plane too heavy to fly well. On the gws foam planes I use just paint and I have to keep it thin to keep from affecting the weight. What kind of plane is it?

Hi!
There is special light film made by the European Oracover (German made) manufacturer (Ultracote to you americans).
Painting will be too heavy!

Can you paint over ultracote on a 60 size plane, say for making camoflouge on the plane where the base is left the ultracote color and the alternate color is sprayed on?
