Traxxas receiver compatibility w/ Futaba 2PL
I have a Traxxas Stampede XL-5 with stock receiver and want to run with a Futaba 2PL Am system radio. Do I have to buy a new Futaba receiver or can I use my stock Traxxas receiver??
Or can I just get matching crystals?

I have a new EMAXX and installed the Traxxas crystal in to my Futaba 2PL and Magnum Jr transmitters and it didn't work. I would think to make it work you need a Futaba receiver in the truck.
