Default Prop..... Bob Cat

I took an EJF Bob e Cat (electric) and made a few minor mods....... Added 12" to the wing, and 3" to the tail booms, and mounted a 61fx on the nose with a tuned pipe running down the side.

Something different. should have a first flight next week!

This photo shows the entire Plane, you can see the center section, that is the added wing area. The tail booms are larger, stronger, and wider.

You stuck a .61 on that thing???? I hope you beefed up the tail booms a bit Also, what size tank were you able to stuff into it?

I just received my kit last week and am going to power it with a Toki fan. Projected weight is 3.5 - 4 lbs.

I got a 16oz tank in it, easily. I used the laser cut booms, as a jig.
I used very little of the kit, wing cores, and the fuse. The booms are based off of a Roo construction I did. Its got an added 12" of wing, which is in the center of the wings (more like a fuse) with a 12" spar in the wing cores.

61fx (the pipe is over 20" long, its going to run down the side).

I think its really cool!

This photo show the fuse from the front.

Photo #4

This photo shows the wings together, as per instructions. You can also see the added section, this gives it a wingspan of 58".

This is the tail boom, you can see I made lines on it to show the
stock layout, on top of the new built booms.

Looks like an excellent execution of a well thought out kit bash. I like it!

What do you think the final weight is going to be?

Above 5lbs, hopefully not by much.

I wanted a bobcat, and basically, thats what its gonna look like (and if I'm lucky, it will fly like one as well).

Well, everyone can't re-design and build one. I'm giving it my best, what did you have in mind?

Default close to complete

Got a good bunch of this project complete over the weekend,
starting to look heavy. Really nice plane!

May hats off to all the guys out there that can monokote, and build from scratch. My monokote job prove's Ray Charles does have a hobby :-)!!!!! Building from scratch, less a few key parts
Just take's way to long for me. ARF kinda guy!

All these guys that build stuff in a New York second and make it look like its right out of the box, are my hero's!!!!!

All that said, it does look okay, and I will post up some photos, once its on its legs!
