BALSA USA 1/3 Sopwith pup . Question about instructions
Good day all;
I am planning on buying the Sopwith pup 1/3 kit from Balsa USA.
I would like to know about the instructions that they supply.
I have built a few ARF's, and Top Flites giant scale Corsair and Warhawk. I have heard that Balsa USA's instructions are only a
few text only pages.
I feel that I need better instuctins than that.
Any info would be helpful.
Thank you.
Todd

BALSA USA 1/3 Sopwith pup . Question about instructions
Todd;
I am putting the finishing touches on my 1/3 Pup now. The instructions at times are not too clear. You have to do a lot of engineering on your own. All of the servo placement, pull-pull systems, pushrods , engine configuration and attachment are strictly up to your own devices. There are 2 or three pages of pictures of the finished product but they are not like a Sig or Goldberg construction manual. Like Ron said, the people that have built this Pup will be glad to help you thru the tough parts.

BALSA USA 1/3 Sopwith pup . Question about instructions
Bluther is right.
I'm building the Balsa USA 1/3 Pup from the plans alone. I have to cut all wood including the ribs whilst maintaining the wing's camber. What a job! I can employ my own stupid way of doing things and not try to make another's idea work. I'm rather glad I don't have the instruction booklet. Looking at my progress now, the instruction booklet would turn more to be a 'restriction' booklet. I'll let yous know in about six months how my Pup turned out.
