There are a number of tracks. What kind of track are you looking for? Offroad, dirt oval, paved oval, touring?

There is a dirt track in thousand oaks. I have not been there.
But if you call 'marty's hobbies' in thousand oaks they
can tell you.

It sure dos'nt seem like it. There used to be a lot more.
There were indoor tracks and outdoor dirt and paved.
now I know of only one onroad track. Which seems odd
because touring cars seem VERY popular at all the shops
around here.

Default other track

There's another dirt track here in Redondo Beach. Of course you have to either work at where its located or know somebody who does. My buddy and I built it on some unused land. Its tight and sandy but fun and available 24hrs/day if we put lights out there.

Nitoman88 is right! Up here in Coos Bay, Oregon we have NOTHING! No tracks, hobby shops, clubs, NOTHING!

same thing in Iowa. I think there used to be tracks but most of them are shut down now. I know somepeople that have trouble deciding which track to go to. but a track is like a dream for me.

That track looks pretty cool. Dirt tracks are a tougher problem
it seems because you can pretty much set up road tracks in a parking lot. But if you dont own the land you end up doing
A LOT of work making the track just for it to get messed up
and you can't really water it.
I used to have a kick ass one in my back yard We put lights
out there and drove all night It was sweet! But I had to move.
Sure miss it though. It really seems strange that with how
popular rc cars are that there arent more tracks! Don't people
realize how fun they are and how willing to spend ridiculus
sums of money we are? LOL!

Hey joelacrane,

Looking at the track listings in RC Car Action and on their web site they list tracks in Medford which is a drive for you but not super far. I think the last time I looked they had two off road tracks listed there.

It might be something to check out if they do have them there and if so could be a weekend thing.

I'm lucky enough to have one about 3 miles from my house in Hillsboro, OR. Of course given our economy right now a move might be in my future which could mean no more track. :-(

I know of a dirt oval track about 20 minutes from me but I may not race thier because I dont think it would be that fun, plus it is really hard on the engines running in 90 degree weather
