Default cold section pwer turbines

Another silly question??
Has anyone out there built or had experience of running a cold section turbo prop or turboshaft engine in a model?
The reason I ask is that there are plans in progres for either a Westland Wyvern or A Fairey Cannet (or both), and because of the design constraints an Mw54 turboshaft wont be qiute right.

Any advice?? ( apart from dont do it!!!!)

Schreckling's turbo prop book shows details of one that he build and flew in a helicopter.

The power turbine was quite large.
