Default Revo 2.5R NOT SHIFTING

I have my Revo tuned properly, and it is running really good, it will get going very fast, but it won't shift. Not only will it no shift in drive into second gear but it will not shift into reverse either. Does anyone know what is going on, I really need some help.

Thanks

Re- set the opti drive first, make sure its all working fine, its a failsafe for reverse.
Second gear can be adjusted with a HEX at the top of the gear box, it may be set to change to late, dont turn the hex much, it can fall out and end up at the bottom of gearbox, requiring a full pulldown to fix, adjust a little, 1/8 of a turnish then run it see if it changes.
If its set right and wont change in any position your top end is probably rich and it cant get the revs up, or you have low compression and ie, the revs wont get high enough for a second change.

Re- set OPTI drive FIRST.

it won't shift into reverse if the RPMs are still too high...it needs to be at dead idle to shift into reverse..

Any more suggestions?

what is your idle doing? is it idling a little high? it won't go into reverese if the idle is too high.

ok try shifting into reverse with the truck on but not running......if it shifts and it is in reverse when you start it then its your idle being too high that is not letting it go into reverse

It wont shift at all, when the car is on or off!

I have no idea what is going on, is the servo dead?

Ok, it is actually my truck. My brother posted for me since I was busy. It probably has something to do with the servo or Opti-Drive rather than not getting enough revs, etc. because I have gotten it to top speed and kept it there for a few seconds without it shifting... The plug is fine and I can't shift it manually. I have to push really really hard which I don't want to do because I don't want to break the servo. I haven't actually shifted it by hand but I assume with enough force it would go.

set the gearbox transmission shift screw to shift a little sooner for second gear if you swear your not running too rich.
reset the optidrive sensor. It takes like 5 seconds. if nothing then check your tq3 servo switch numbers at the bottom of the remote and check the manual for factory settings. if that doesnt work try taking the servo out and making sure it isn't seized. if nothing still then you might have a toased receiver plug.
