I just did a search and you can click this link and view the results. Looks like there's a few pages worth of threads. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/sear...reply=combined

The only problem I've ever had with it is the screws that hold the muffler vibrated loose and wallowed out the holes in the cylinder head. I had a friend helicoil the holes and mount studs, red loctited in place. No more problems.
Damn good engine, wish I had 3 or 4 more.

I had a US41 in a TFGS Mustang... Not a powerhouse, but dependable as sunrise... A XOAR 20 X 8 prop, or a 19.5 X10 Menz gave me the best performance, in the 68 to 7000rpm range.. The Zinger and Top Flite props gave much noise, but little performance..
Just a solid, dependable old gasser, in the Quadra family..

The original Frontier chainsaws that were made in Trail BC and the origination of the Quadra motors, had a sliding plate that pivoted under one of the carb mounting screws. A spacer washer and a wave washer and a tin plate and you could make your own. Otherwise a small motor repair shop usually has them kicking around, at least I did. Just make sure the throat size is the same.

CH has the electronic ignition system for the US41. I have it on mine. Easy enough to install and set up. Performance is about the same with better idle and much lower weight.
