I was looking into building the 41% version, and also considering doing his 50% version if possible. After many unanswered e-mails, I moved onto other things. Bob is a hard person to get into contact with, or any information from. Hope you have better luck than I did. Scott

I've also been looking at this kit for a while. I've built untold amount of electric kits but this would be my first gasser (besides ARf's). Those that have built it, do you think an experienced builder in a lot of smaller aircrafts could take this on? From the terrible website instruction steps, it doesn't appear to be that difficult of a build.

Thanks Tony. I do have one really simple question.... The hypersal glue (how ever you spell it). How do you use it? Do you put the glue in the joint and then put the pieces together or do you put the pieces together and use it to make a fillet around the joint? Or does it absorb like CA glue?

Kevin,
I never built Bob's Pitts from his kit. I built my own from scratch. Its a little smaller, 80 inch wing span powered by a 3W-60 on a cannister muffler.
The airplane is easy to fly, and there are a lot of color schmes out there that would look great. I am not familure with the glue you mentioned.

Hi Pete,

I have tried to contact Bob but indeed it's hard to get to Bob. A friend of my going to call him maybe that's better.

Do you build it from a kit of Bigairplanes?
Is it possible to sent me some pictures.

What engine do you use?

I have seen on the website pictures of the S12 no flying wires, is that correct? that there is no need for them.

Regards Cesar.

Hey Guys,
If you want to talk to Bob, just call him. He answers the phone nearly every time. I called him yesterday, he answered on the third ring and talked to him for almost thirty minutes. He has a wealth of info and is more than willing to offer it up just for the asking. You could not find a friendlier guy in the hobby.

My advise, just call him!!!!!!

Hi Pete,
What do you mean with [email protected] ? It is, I think a E-mail adress........ not a web page.

REgards,
Cesar.

I have been looking for a US distributor for tha CH Models Pitts S-12 for 50cc engines. Here is a few picture with different color schemes. Can not find anyone that sells in the USA. Would appreciate any/all help or info. A bit small for you 41% guys but my truck needs to be bigger! CH Model does offer this model in either 70" wingspan or for you that like them "HUGE" they offer the same model in a 94.5" model!
