Default Hummingbird - Brushed Motor Question

Hello,

I've read a lot of threads about brushless motors, but I'm wondering about a brushed alternative that costs less.

I see on helihobby.com that they sell the Team Orion Elite Modified motor for the Piccolo so I assume it works for the Hummingbird as well.

Also, I looked around towerhobbies.com and see that a possible substition is the HPI Modified Motor 45T Micro RS4 for 1/2 the price of the Orion.

Does anyone have experience with these or other replacement brushed motors in the Hummingbird or Piccolo?

Thanks all for your help!

Brad

Default I'll let you know...

I just got an Orion Elite Modified and a 9T and 10T pinion to try it out... Will give a full report in a while!

Which pinion worked best with the Orion?
