Eolo bits
Hi all,
So, the Skylark's pretty broken, and I'm left with the choice of repairing it or getting a Robbe Eolo R22. I'm tempted by the latter, but was wondering if I could use the guts out of the skylark (the piccoboard ripoff and the servos) or if I'd need to get all new, bigger stuff for the Eolo.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Carl

Sorry to tell you, but...............
The answer is yes. The board fills no function on the Eolo as the Eolo has a much bigger (speed 600) main motor and no electrical tail motor. The T/R is shaft driven. HS-81MG servos are the way to go. And you will need a Heli radio with at least six channels. Sell the scraps from your SkyLark and start over.

Cheers Hoverup, I had a feeling it'd be you who'd have the goods on this one
As for the radio, I have a JR XP652 (6 channels, 5 model memory, 2 functions) which does heli and fixed wing. Do you think that would suffice, or am I better off getting another radio? If it's the latter then I might be forced to stick with FP helis
Anyway, thanks for the info, you've just made up my mind of what to do. Now where did I put the order form for those skylark spares?
