Default Remeber my reciever problem? Fixed with an R330/R1! Nice radio!!

Well if you guys remember.. I was complaining that my servos would stop responding when I ran them "vigorously" with my old reciever.(the one that comes wiht the XR3i. R125 I think.

Now I got an R330 RX and the problem is GONE!!!

I didnt wanna chance a Y harness. and besides, the R330/R1 combo has a built in fail safe.. and the SPCM is hard to argue with!

I've yet to figure out how to use all the features of the R1, but I can tell its gonna take time. the manual is twice as thick..lol

About the only "complaint" I have is the low-tech screen. A nice backlit screen would be nice. Add color and a hi-res screen and it'd be untouchable

R/C seems to be one of those industries where none of the manufacturors really seem to have money (except Futaba)

Anyway.. I'll let you guys know more about this.. once I figure my way through this myrad of menu-mazes! lol

Truely a geeky radio made for R/C Geeks!

I had the XR3i before this. I loved the intuitive system of that remote. I think the XS would rock.

Just make sure you get better servos and heck see if you can avoid having a BEC in your reciever.

I bought the 27Mhz, because I thought people normally use 27 at AM, and 75 with FM.

I paid 325 for the R1, but it has a few features like a built in Fail safe, SPCM mode, throttle curve adjustments that I really liked.
Also.. it has some pretty interesting stuff like ABS.

XS $225, R1 $325.. If you have money sitting around, go for the R1, but you cant go wrong with the XS!! It has EVERYTHING you need for a high performance full functionality remote.

Anyone who owns an XS wanna comment?!
