You definitely cannot park right there by the pond. The police will either tow you or give you a ticket. You can park long enough to unload, then you will have to park across the road on the street behind the gas station and convenience store. Doug

Go to Belmont Park in W Babylon and get your state rc boat permit, you will need your NAMBA card. As stated previously you can unload but you should not park there. I have done it a few times with others on a Sat morning and have been lucky. Park on the East side on Pennsilia. On Sat or Sun morning you'll find a few guys at the lake. Dist 1 uses the lake for races and several of these guys are there. If you meet Lou or Charlie they are very helpful. I uses a zig zag racer as a recovery boat but have seen others help out with their gas "tow" boat. The last time I looked at the lake was about two months ago and the area was gross with litter. Once the season gets into geat things should get better. I almost done reassembling my AM Conquest which was sent out for paint and an engine upgrade over the winter. I'm waiting for the radio box and once set up I'm done. I also have a Rico Rigger being built and will run a Quickdraw in that. I have heard about rc boating on Lake Ronkonkoma but know nothing about this. Hope to meet up with you guys one day.
