Pvc Plane Rack For Pickup Truck?
I don't know if this will help, but here's a diagram of the rack I built. It's basically 48" wide and 60" long, and fits b/t the wheel wells of my truck. I can put three wings side by side in the bottom rack and three fuses in the top (each facing opposite directions to each other). It's made from 3/4" PVC and has foam cable-tied to all pieces. I use a light weight cargo net stretched over the bed to hold the fuses in place. I've never had a problem with it. Let me know if you want more details.
BTW, I use PVC for plane stands, ceiling hangars, fuse and wing cradles (for building), etc... anything I can think of. It's kinda like tinker-toys for big boys

Don't forget to cover the pvc with foam pipe insulation when your done, it helps keep the plane from getting dinged up. I mounted mine in a 1x4 wooden frame that keeps it sturdy and in shape when you put it in and out of your truck and helps hold everything down it also gives you a good place to mount eye bolts to hook bungie cords.
