Default 50cc Exhaust System

Has anyone used or seen the Probuild Quiet Pipe For 40-70cc? It's destributed through Chip Hyde Products.

http://www.probuild-uk.co.uk/product...1&subCatID=316

I was wondering how it compares to KS or other 50cc canister type mufflers. Any info would be appreciated as i'm looking for a canister system for my DA50.

Thanks,
Pete

I've never seen the quiet pipe used, but can tell you that the MTW 75K and the KS 86 cans are fairly quiet. I've run both and there is not an issue with noise. Most two stroke glow engines are louder.

The trick to making a muffler work is finding the correct header length. If the ProBuild fits your plane then give it a try. Same goes with the canns like KS86. To get the most from one, the header length needs to be adjusted to find the optimal length for good smooth engine power.
