Nitro to electric
Hey, i have an old nitro car thats 1/16th that i was thinking of converting to electric. It dosent need to be fast at all, just something to have a bit of fun with... if i were to get a reliable set up how much would it cost me (cheapest option) and could anybody give some links? I do know on steering servo on it is bust, but i can take care of that... and i already have transmitter and a spare reciever.
thanks.
thanks.

RE: Nitro to electric
You would need electric basics m8 a ESC,motor, battery etc
The main thing u would need is to fab a motor mount on that chassis to run electric [)]

yeah, i got a batt from an old roto start (7.2v) and have found a pretty cheap esc and motor. Going to try and draw up a mount tommorow and get some dimensions ect. Do you think i could still use the drivetrain already there? and maybe even keep the stock gearing except for the pinion?
