intlwaters boat plan, quick question
I tryed a search but no luck.
its a fast easy question [)]
im wondering how I print out the intlwaters gas mono hull plans? (do i need to go to a printing store to get them done on bigger paper?, or mine at home work?)
last year in school and would like to make more use out of the woodshop. 1/4 ply wood good for the build?
hopefully have a alum boat for a retrieval 18hp engine.

1/4 ply will work fine for the internal framework, but it is much too thick for the outer skin. I use 1/8" luan doorskin ply for the outer skin on mine, it's cheap and works well. Doug

Don't know if it helps, but my plug was made from one sheet of 1/4 luan. Came out very strong. Although 1/8 would have made the sides a little easier....good thing theres CA!

You can print them out with your computer at home. Use acrobat reader to print them out. Besure that you size all parts the same. Then fit together and tape. You may have to print them a little bit as you go because of the size. Besure you overlap your prints alittle.

RE: intlwaters boat plan, quick question
Doug (dwr9) is being modest here, those are his plans featured on International Waters, built by many people on this forum, must be the most popular gas boat ever!!!! Plenty of build threads to check out.
The plans are available as a tiled pdf for home printing or you can take them to a local sign shop and get them printed out.
I don't have the tiled print on my home computer and no internet at work[] as we have just moved, try a search for "International woody" and you should find someone that has the tiled plans to send to you.
Nice boat, good lines and works well on the water
