has anyone ordered from there? How are they to deal with?

I can't beleive they want $25.00 std shipping to canada for a 12" peice of silicone hose!!

you can order just the water cooled couplers from Cooper and never have to worry about couplers again. They weld on pretty easy if you can alloy weld. Those "Cream of the Crop" couplers are the best, but the teflon ones from Rocket City racing are good too and Brian is fair on shipping. Aeromarine have pretty good shipping rates too!

try a local plumbing store or high performance auto parts. I went to a local supply store and they just gave me a peice of 7/8" silicone hose

Yep, that's the kind of place I get mine, auto stores/supplier. I usually get a foot for the price the LHS charges for 3" (and it exactly the same stuff, and I mean identical just in fancy packaging)

If you get "silicon heater hose" you will be right (at least that's what my place has it listed as)

silicone heater hose (my cost) is 16.50/ft min 4ft. or 7.50/ft for a 50' roll. It's not a normally stocked item in these parts!

Ordering over the internet is a cheaper alternative.

wow, I guess it's different in Canada. can't you just slip the guys at the shop a couple bucks to cut you off a foot of it?

Unfortunately no! I get car parts at cost at this one location and its at least $5 more per foot elsewhere!
