Carb leaks how to fix
So I Took my Rt-x27 out for bashing and it kept running hot on me, so I richened the lsn and hsn, thus it kept running hot, so i took the body of so I had a pen hole in my fuel line thus spraying fuel over the motor, so I fixed the pen hole leak, still kept running hot, with raw fuel spraying out of muffler temps were like 280 degrees (Axial .28 spec 1 engine) then I saw bubbles around the carb neck and tightening bolt, how did I get the bubbles from the raw fuel that sprayed on the motor that I mentioned earlier, but the bolt isn't loose and is tightened but still over heats, so How do I fix the leak, please help!!!!!!![&o][&o][&o][&o][&o]

Sounds like an air leak. You can use high temp red RTV around the bolt and around the carb base to seal it. Just be careful that you don't overdo it, only put as much on as you need to seal things up.

Dale did a nice writeup a while back that covers sealing air leaks amongst other things > [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7239240/tm.htm]clicky[/link]

On real 2 cycles as in weedeaters and chainsaws you can also use fingernail polish.
Lots of times there will be a leak in the housing or bowl it's self which will only show up when it is hot and has expanded. One of the test involve sealing the exhaust and pressurizing the motor from the carb side with a special tool and dipping it in water and watch for bubbles. Bubbles is a leak and 2 cycles don't like air leaks.
