Default O.S. .18TM On the way

I just ordered an OS 18TM for my revo 3.3. Anyone ever used one of these OS's? What's a good break in method for it? Does it really make a difference on the revo compared to the 3.3?

Those are great engines. I would just use the heat cycling method to break it in. Similar to what you did to break in your trx 3.3.

Where'd ya order it from?

I found it on ebay. I guy snuck in for a 1 day only auction. Brand new too, so i figured i'd take advantage.

For break-in, basically just do the usual heat to around 200, cooling at BDC for a bunch of tanks?

Just follow the traxxas method and u should be ok. What u want is u want the sleeve and piston to get to at least 200*; while heat-cycling it(letting it cool completely with piston/sleeve at bottom dead center (bdc) (if I remember correctly, if not someone else please do correct me)

I have one on my T-MAXX. Runs very strong. You'll like it.

I may possibly think about getting one for my revo as well once this 3.3 goes bye-bye; which hopefully wont be for quite awhile....
