Default DUAL RUDDER SET-UP

I OFTEN SEE GUYS INTERESTED IN RUNNING DUAL RUDDERS...YES IT DOES CREATE A LITTLE EXTRA DRAG, THE SET-UP ITSELF LOOKS AWESOME AND PERFORMS GREAT. HERE ARE A FEW PICS OF MY EXPRESSCRAFT 60" MTI. THE RUDDERS AND SKEGGED STRUT DRIVE ARE FROM TOPSECRET THE STEEL BRAIDED WAGTER LINES I BUILD MYSELF USING STEEL BRAIDING .25 INCH AND GAS FUEL LINE FROM DDM, THE TIE BAR BETWEEN THE TWO RUDDERS CAME FROM AMERICAN.

THE RACERS WILL TELL YOU THIS SET-UP CREATES TOO MUCH DRAG....BUT THEN AGAIN "I DONT RACE"!!!!!

ALSO I AM REWORKING MY CAT AFTER A FREAK ACCIDENT ( ATTIC LADDER IN GARAGE FELL ON HER!) SHE IS OFF TO PAINT ON THE 9TH.

Really looks nice. Man, hate the stairs thing.

Weren't you going to put CF in the tub? Lets see some pics of the inards

In know the duel rudder thing looks cool but watch yourself. I barrel rolled mine at 50 with a single rudder

Paul I will post some of the carbon as soon as I clean out the inside, I redid the entire boat after the accident...Now if you look behind the air intakes you will see the turbine exhaust ports...I am now doing a "Turbine Marine" theme (http://www.turbinemarine.com/index.html). Heres a look at the new paint being laid down by "Soft Touch Customs"...I have also had T.M. & M.T.I. custom decals made up....It will look more like a kick azz poker run boat this time around.

It looks very nice

What are the benefits of the dual rudder setup?
Also, it looks like you can remove one rudder whenever you want and have the best of both worlds?

Just been picky here but two rudders wont have any benefits on a cat as they dont lean in the corners like a vee so having a rudder left or right wont affect turning ,paintjob is very eye catching but you might need to view it through shades [sm=shades_smile.gif].Should look good when its done good luck with it.

Top Secret: do you not sell on Ebay anymore? I used to buy from you all the time and need hardware for a new boat. Did you ever come out with a stuffing tube t-bar?
