I need a special size gas tank I saw somewhere that you could reform a Dubro tank by heating it in boiling water has anyone done this.if so how do you keep the fittings from deforming?

Don't know about DuBro, but the Sullivan Flextank is designed with just that in mind. Warm and reshape as needed.

I've used this one with no problems. (Had to make it a bit wasp-waisted to fit inside an existing frame).

They look like Polyethelene. Experiment with a hair dryer or heat gun. The side walls will start to clarify as a given section becomes pliable. Stay away from the opening, stick a plug in to assure it remains round.
212 F I doubt will have any effect on it.
Good luck
