wont stay idled

wont stay idled
My question is I have a Duratrax GP2 i have a good glow plug,chraged ignitor,good fuel but when i start the car it wont stay started for more then a couple of seconds it seems to me that it could be the idle needle but i dont know i also have a little crack in the top of the gas tank but temporarily fixed it w/ super glue but have a gas tank on order could that be it pls help?

could be lots of things
yes, it could be that cracked tank
it could be the idle stop screw
or the throttle linkage
or the trim setting on the transmitter
or the lsn to rich
or too lean
or a mis-adjusted hsn
or sticking/dragging clutch shoes
or a weak glow plug
or, well, that's about all i can
think of off the top of my head
