(Video) First time jumping my new Revo 3.3
Well I took the Revo out yesterday and had allot of fun, this thing can take some pretty good damage without breaking.
It was my first time really driving the thing since I bought it a few weeks ago and I made the ramp a in about 2 min with some old wood it turned out ok, but next time bigger ramp and wider ramp.
I must say I am impressed with the purchase, thanks for all your advice guys.

The ramp design makes jumping very difficult. The more stable the ramp(doesnt move around)will improve your jumping, longer ramp approach and put some progressive curving in the ramp angle will make things much more manageble. It will give your suspention time to settle as it hits the ramp and not be all over the place plus gives you more time to control your take off the ramp. There is definitely more to jumping then just driving it off the ramp with some gas or brakes.

I do realize all that about the ramp design but this design in the video was to just try out the revo make it fly a bit and have some fun, other than revvin up and down the street.
Next video will have a serious ramp !

you need a curved ramp so it dose not keeping landing on the top.

Indeed! I sure do but I had to test its durability too, ya know :P

The WHEELS man.. The WHEEEEEELLLSS... Land on them! Your truck with thank you
Looks like fun, I finally got to build a big ramp for my Savage and it upped the fun factor for sure.. Though my wife did say "Ah, I see you found a faster way to break your truck....".
You'll grin ear to ear the first time you pull a back flip. Looks like you almost had a couple of front flips there which was nifty.
I will say one thing.. I'm glad I built my ramp wide, more margin for error [&:]

I will post pics of my new ramp soon.
I am gonna build one tomorrow, what is a good recommended starter height?
I will be building the ramp concave so you get good air but I don't want to make one too big, anyone's opinions will help.
Thanks

RE: (Video) First time jumping my new Revo 3.3
I was out last weekend and all I used was a old crate and big chunk of plywood (about 4X4...the olny thing I could find on my parent's farm at the time) and, man, you get some nice air. Probably 6 or 7 feet high and maybe 15 to 20 foot length jumps (hitting the jump in second gear with some speed sure makes it fly nice) but, man, did I have some REAL rough landings, too, trying to get the whole brake/throttle thing in the air under control. Had an open header once (running a OS 18tm so the spring header saved me) but absolutely nothing broke to my amazement.

Man that was a pretty good video there for starters!!! And Im glad u are having fun with ur hobby grade "toy"...and yes the revo can certainly take quite a bit of abuse before breaking anything(If it does at all)...Ive done the same thing to mine...Ive carthwheeled mine, jumped it pretty hard, etc with no damage(I wish I had a vid camera to show what I did but sadly I dont have one)....
