i want to take an e-maxx and convert it to brushless.what ALL do i have to change,besides the motors??i got about 350 xtra bucks to soak into this so,can i get everything needed for about 350??i dont want to run lipos yet,will the brushless have enough oomph on nimh batterys??i want to prove to my friend with the t-maxx that i can keep up with a nitro! will i need one motor or 2 to acheive at least 40-45 mph?i like the kershaw upgraded motor package,but i figure it only gets up to about 38 or so.ive never done this b4,is it difficult??thanx for all the help

your best bet is a mamba monster max esc ($150) and then a feigao 8xl ($70). Then gear it for a bout 35mph. (that t-maxx aint gonna go much faster than that. Then replace things as they break(drivetrain).

Really save your money for a set of lipos. It feels like you double your power when going from 12/14 cell nimh to 4s lipo. its unbelievable.

is you have the old e-maxx you will need to buy stronger axles and metal trans gears.

IM GOING TO BUY a new 16.8v and tear the motors out from the start

I like the hv maxx. you could get the 4.5 and it could go 45.

I got a hv 6.5 I dont use anymore. Pm if your wanting a decent BL setup. I had it on my emaxx also
