Check out warehouse hobbies. Take a look at the Super G. I purchased one last year and I love it so far. They make some of the best hulls that anyone can build. The website is whobbies.com

Enjoy,

Alex

More like check out anything warehouse hobbies sells....anything is better for a beginner than that Rio. Didn't you see the huge thread on it? About to have mine on Ebay very soon, I like my own built fiberglass hull design better. Maybe as early as Monday...keep an eye out.

Both boats handle well. Each have some problems. There are many threads on both boats on this site, check them out.

The Rio 51 has a better ride with little to no bow steer. The Rio is also faster then the V24 One Design.

Rio all the way.

muti369 - Out of the 2 choices you gave...the Rio would be a better boat.

Nice to see someone interested in boating in this area. Just out of curiosity, where do you plan to run?
