G62 What RPM With Zinger 22-10
I have a G62 converted by RC Ignition with a b & b muffler. What type of rpm should I be getting with a zinger 22-10. I really havent messed with the needles yet and am getting 6500 rpm. Just wondering if this is about right.

Tune it. You're losing 500__800RPM somewhere.
I don't have a G62 in the fleet that won't turn 7000+ with every 22-10 prop except a Bambula (boat oar). I got 5 of these engines.
Most 22-10 props should be turning 7000__7300RPM.
Lean the high speed needle out to peak and then back it up about 200__300RPM. Check the low end for transition and sputtering. If it's sputtering in the midrange__it's rich on the low speed needle. Lean the low end until it stops sputtering. If you lean the low end too far, it will become troublesome to start. In that case, fatten the low speed needle 1/8th turn and go for it.

I have a MT62, G62 clone, and it turned a Xoar 22x10 7000 rpm today.
I have a MT62, G62 clone, and it turned a Xoar 22x10 7000 rpm today.
I have it on a SD 260 Extra, and tried 3 different props yesterday:
Vess 22a ~7200 rpm acceleration was very good, climb good, straight and level it seemed under propped, very loud.
Xoar 22x10 ~7000 rpm acceleration was OK, climb good, straight and level very good, not very loud.
Xoar 23a ~6100 rpm, acceleration was OK, but not as good as the other two, climb very good, straight and level good, very quiet, about as loud as a .40 size sport plane.
I surprised myself with the 23a, I almost didn't fly it after the low rpm ground readings, I think I like it the best though I think guys flying IMAC would pick the 22x10.

17 pounds , I have the CF wing tube, and header with canister.
I flew it today with a 22a 3D BME laminated prop, TBM 22x8 , NX 22x8 they flew it OK, but not as good as the best the other day, the best today was NX 22x8. I'd give rpms, but I didn't write them down at the time and don't want to put bogus numbers up.
