RE: 3W advice
I have a 3W-60K, it is actually 57cc and has no reeds. It is the 3W equal to the zenoah G-62 with OEM electronic ignition.
Does your engine look like this?

RE: 3W advice
I have used penzoil aircooled and it works very well. I have also used the mobil 1 synthetic two-cycle oil.
Elson (bugman) is the 3W guy here, he operates a fleet of 3W engines on research planes and has many more hours on these beasts than anyone else. His advice is solid
Yes there are two 3W-60's. The one I have shown is long out of production. The later version is a rear carb with reed block configuration. It is more powerful and heavier, also larger in size than the "K" model.

RE: 3W advice
The 60K was my first 3W engine, ran that thing forever! They really come alive with either a pipe or a can, and it likes a 22-10 Menz prop. Ran mine at 50:1 with different types of synthetic oils, all worked great. I liked it so much I bought another one!!
