That sucks , hope it was'nt a boat with one of those $1,000 custom paintjobs. I'm visiting some family for the summer in Tamworth , Staffordshire any suggestions were I can see some r/c boat races ?

Yea i saw that vid its Danny Bells boat ,as for boat races in the uk you better have a look at the OMRA site for dates and venues also there might be some club racing you could check out if you search for clubs in the area your vissiting maybe?.

heres another cool vid from the offshore racing D class (gas),this is the 57" stealth by John Smith who designs and builds these himself.Seems to run like a winner seeing as this was its first race in the sea.
