I am looking for plans to build a Ford TriMotor. I don't mind paying for them. (nothing is free!) I just don't know where to look. I just want the plans, not a kit. I want to build 3 of them. One with .20 motors, one with .61 and one with .91. I enjoy the challenge of scratch building... any help would be great!!!

One idea, would be the EAA in Oshkosh Wisconsin.
They have a full size one that they rebuilt after it was destroyed in wind. They told me that they have the plans. It is available for rides most of the year. I went up in it!!!!!!!! Drool!!!!!!
Good Luck,

If you ever get the opportunity to hold the controls on that trimotor you'll tire of it quickly. Takes great effort to do anything other than straight and level. Heaviest controls you could imagine.
Bill.

Me take the controls of a 70 year old plane!!!!!! I never control any plane that I cannot walk away from the crash!!!!!!!
I was happy in the rear.
Hey, Dago Red, love the saying about modifying that plane under your name!!!!!!!

Thanks, scary part is that any plane i build or own ends up some how being mod to looks so differ like my RIP twin tail superstar or my 21 wheeled kadet senior.
What year did you go to oshkosh? i been there 4 years i missed the 2000 show but been to 98,99,01,02, i camped there 2 years ago, that was awsome and hope to go this year and camp again.
Are ya going to go this year? I wonder what planes they are brining in this year, wish they would bring in Dago Red for thier demo air race, i love that part!!!

Trying to answer original question, I found this site at the Ford museum where you can see the original drawings of the Trimotor.
Only visited the museum several times. That is one good point about lots of travel.
