Ken,

Thank you very much for your precise and valuable experience. Unfortunately, the runway used for the first couple of flights is located at sea level while our airstrip is at 1400 m altitude, consequently practissing on the long runway will not be very significant as in altitude airplane behave differently. But as you mentionned, Rafale is very forgiving jet and i might as well make some tests soon on this short strip.
By the way, i already some successful Boomerang Intro and XL experience, although i realize that these are different jets that behave differently.

Regards.
Dany

Ken,

Do you use/recomend an offset position for the canards during take off and landing sequences. Would this enhance take off on the short runway??
On the other hand could you please advise if you apply up elevator on take off as from the begining or wait till plane builds up speed (standard take off procedure)? i have heard different storries and was wondering about your experience on this issue.

Thanks.
Dany

Since this is a rail/pylon post, I thought I would ask here. I have a Yellow F-4 and I am looking for drawings for all the pylons. Anyone happen to have any? I tired Yellow several times and did not get a reply.
Thanks
Lupe

Walked into my F-16 several times,(getting lucky every time snapping it clean at the glue joint and was glued with epoxy/microballoon mixture , just glued back in place, but on the other hand runway shortage took out my starboard rail. (need a new one)

Yep, no difference in flight characteristics.
There are a few pics of the maiden on this page: http://gallery.gparcs.com/main.php?g...=932&g2_page=2

<snip>........................... runway shortage took out my starboard rail.
Runway shortage....I gotta remember that one. I always thought it was due to my landing longage!
