(also posted on the nitro side) Hi y'all,did'nt want this one getting lost in the myriad of boat retrieval threads,here's my method that I have explained in those numerous posts,just never had a chance to get a vid. of it, as the comment in the caption states, "whether it's stuck at 50' or 300',this method makes it FAST and SIMPLE....... http://www.vimeo.com/1215399 vid. will upload shortly....

I use a similar method (stolen from BMAD) and it works great. It is only limited by the range of the electric and how much line you have

That looks like a great place to run. Is it just for R/C boats?

A 2 man inflatable raft and a 12' surf fishing rod usually work well for me. [8D]

That looks like a great place to run. Is it just for R/C boats?
Spreckles Lake, GoldenGatePark,JUST for model boats,been there since the park was built,(i think)(late 30's),used by San Francisco Model Yacht Club,and has a GREAT model Museum also,gas/nitro boats can run only- sat.tues.thurs. 9-1pm, sailboats-anyday after 1pm., electrics-anyday-anytime.....we have our own sub pond too....... and park POlice (FEDS) do enforce these rules ....STRICTLY...... [:'(]

Glad I live in Hawaii, no popo to say nono anywhere, pond , lake, river , ocean....lol. We use several things, surfboard, Zodiac, Dinghy, Fishing pole, Kayak......
