Default Spektrum receivers and heat.

I ran a race today in 105 degree, dry weather. About 5 minutes into the main I started glitching into fail-safe. I keep my receiver in a baloon to keep out dust. Any chance I was glitching because of heat?

sr3000. I should add that, since I put it in a balloon it hasn't glitch until today and today was the hottest day of the year so far.

when the servos are hot they pull more amps also, battery also has less to give when really hot, so the combo often leads to brown outs for the rec and a glitch or failsafe mode.
