Default Do springs have a life span?

My truck would always sag and when I pushed it down it would barely come back up. I bought it used and dont know how long the springs where on it but when I changed the front from white to silver, the silver comes right back up without any problem. Im also probably changing the back from green to blue, back sags the same way, but I wanted to know if spring lost there strength after awhile.

thanks for any comments.

Its highly possible that any constantly moving part in time would suffer metal fatigue of some sort...

Yeah, springs definately have a life span. Especially if they stay more compressed over time (like if you have a lot preloads on them). I've seen that happen to various degrees on all of my older cars.

yes they can thats why when you store it over a long period of time its good to keep it off its wheels, and so your tires dont get flat spots
