Educated trades on RCU.
I have been a user on RCU for many years. My post count is not accurate due to changing user names. One thing I see is "oh how could they" or look out for"". Here are some tips to trading on RCU.....guys feel free to chime in and post more.
1. RCU trading does not suck, people do!
2. Ask for details via email (this is a record discription and can be used for fraud if needed).
3. Trade pictures with multiple angles and dates of pictures. The more pictures you get the better idea you have.
4. Ask for video of the vehicle running or item in trade (if someone is trading several hundreds of $$ and says they do not have a camera or video recorder move on)chances are its a young kid or a scammer! Someone knows someone with a camera or video recorder.
5. Insure packages and get tracking #'s infact I would also get signature delivery confermation.
6. Some of these items will take time and cost money, but it's a small price to pay for trading and not buying new!
7. You can also search the members posts and see how they act!

Never bothered with trader replies, I do not care. As you know you can get trade posts up with positive feed back from friends or two accounts.

There is also quite a bit of help [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/ratings.cfm]here[/link], and [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_63/tt.htm]here[/link].
Also, changing usernames does not affect your post count. It will always follow along. The typical way the number is reset is deactivating your membership and then starting a new one later.
