Help getting my 1st Nitro car
Hey guys I’m very new to this, I have always wanted to get a nitro car now i can, I am looking at getting a HPI Nitro rs4 rtr 3 evo +. Just wondering how it is and if it will last and what can be done to it upgrade wise in the future once i get more experience in racing. I’m located in Australia so there isn’t that much of a big nitro racing scene where i am. Thanks for the help in advance all help welcome i am a complete new comer.

RE: Help getting my 1st Nitro car
It's a great car. Since you aren't racing and just bashing around, there are many great pros to the car.
I'm just going over some of them, I'm pretty sure you know them all
Since it's shaft, you won't have to worry about getting pebbles stuck in the belt.
Many hop-up parts.
Very durable (at least from my experience). I've had like 3 major crashes and tons of minor ones.
The three were head on collision at full throttle, and the other two were flips and crashes, at least 50+ feet of rolling and flipping.
Nothing broke.
If you really want to make it look good, there are carbon fiber and aluminum parts everywhere on eBay.
The LHS's usually carry the carbon fiber.
If you have any questions on anything, upgrades, replacements, etc. I'll be happy to help.
And talk to C-Los on here too. He's done some major mods to his.
Have fun with the car!
