Is this possible?
I was cruising around ebay and happened upon a good deal for a new cen nx 7.7 engine. I couldn't resist and bought it. Would it be possible at all to put it in my revo? Would a newera mount handle it? or is it just too big? I figure worst case scenario, I'll resell it for a profit. Any input is, as always, appreciated.

its a tank......you would get much better performance from a picco or RB with a good pipe.

RE: Is this possible?
Just to clarify (because it seems some people didn't quite understand my first post), I did not buy the engine specifically for putting into my revo. Right now my revo does not have an engine, so it's not like I'm replacing a 3.3 or anything. I just happened upon a good deal on an engine and thought I would inquire as to whether or not it would be possible to drop that bad boy into my revo. Yes, I realize it's a "tank," but I doubt that this revo will see much, if any, track time. I will be using it for bashing/hill climbing. I just kind of figured that if this engine could be put in, it would just give me that much more torque (not that it's needed). If this engine cannot be put into the revo, I do plan on dropping in a picco .26 red dot, but please do not comment saying that I should do that I should just put the picco in instead. I would like to concentrate on finding a way to put the nx 7.7 in there first. Thanks for your cooperation, and I look forward to hearing some answers.

RE: Is this possible?
of course it could be done
but at what cost for what performance?
if you can sell the "tank" for a profit
and combine that with what you'd spend on
mounts and conversion parts
and get the picco
why not go that way and have an engine and truck that you will know
is a great performer
but i do understand wanting to do something
just to see if it can be done
if that's what you want to do

RE: Is this possible?
I'd love to put it in just to see what it's like, and wouldn't bat an eye at spending $50 or so on an engine mount (I'll be spending near that anyway for a newera mount for the picco). Beyond some sort of special mount I probably wouldn't put the effort in. It would mainly just be for grins. Like a mini cooper with a v8 in it. You have bragging rights, but how practical is it? I'd still love to hear some ideas of how to strap it in there.
