Default 600 motor options

What are some good motor options besides the 600XL motor?

Neu, Skorpion, Medusa, Kontronic. How much do you want to spend?

Default RE: 600 motor options

Crashing like that really stinks.

I am running a Steve Neu 1515 2.5D/H/F 1700KV motor in my 6S T-Rex 600. It is controlled by a Castle Creations Phoenix HV85 esc. This combo is working well for me. I get 5 minutes of flight time running an 11T pinion with approx. 2100rpm headspeed. I bought my 600 with this setup so I can't compair it to the stock 600xl/75a esc stock setup.

You also might want to check out the "new" Align 650L motor. This is the motor that is supposed to come stock in the new 600 "pro" or whever they are going to call it. The 650 is only 1220KV but Align is stating that it has 30% more torque than the 600XL.

When and if my Neu motor bits the dust I am planning on going with one of the Scorpion HK-4025 motors and run 8S or 10S. I think the stock 6S 600 setup is a battery killer. My packs come down pretty warm and I am not expecting alot of life out of them.

Good luck with your decision.
