Default ZDZ 40 Choke Linkage

I have a zdz 40 and sure could use some advise on hooking up a choke linkage. The engine will be on a Great planes SU-31. Not much room to work with. I would like to see pictures if possible.

All you need is a push rod coming through the nostrel of the cowling suspended loosely with a few zip ties or velcro straps. Doesn't have to be heavy duty. As long as the push rod stays put and doesn't flex. My fav is a CF rod with titanium end on my DA 50, two velcro straps, one pulling up and another pulling down to keep it in place. I use the Central hobbies stuff.

Unfortunately the crankase and the mounting ears get in the way of any easy front of cowl operation. Since the choke lever is oriented fore and aft I just use a mini metal gear servo and run a nyrod linkage parallel to the throttle linkage on the opposite side of the fuse. I use a spring loaded switch on my transmitter to engage or disengage. Sometimes if I'm fast enough I can release the switch/choke as the engine fires/pops and occasionally it will start right then. The upper nyrod in the photo is for the choke on my new carb and it just runs to the servo. The carb on the right is the old one I just pulled with basically the same stock linkage.
