Default Walbro to Zama Carb. Cross Reference Guide

[sm=drowning.gif]Does anyone know if there is a cross-reference guide to go from Zama to Walbro or vise-versa? Also where can I find Carb. specs posted other than the manuf. web sites (aftermarket)? The manuf. sites are vague.

Default RE: Walbro to Zama Carb. Cross Reference Guide

Here's a Walbro carb series page. http://wem.walbro.com/walbro/family2.asp You kinda have to know what type or model you need to start. The most comon RC carbs are HDA, SDC, WGA. Measure your carbs venturi and bolt pattern and go from there. A quick "hey what carb fits xyz engine best?" question here on RCU should give you a good starting point too. Personaly I rummage through the local saw shops boxes of old carbs and old saws for my carbs.
