Default _Small_ Gas Engine?

Hi Guys,

I could swear I saw an add for a small gas engine, equivalent to like a 60 or 91 size GLO engine. I can't find anything like that poking around on the internet. Does anyone know about such a motor?

Thanks,
Lee

How about a 20cc. Ain't like a .90... but close (1.22) It's the new RCGF 20cc engine.

Go to [link]http://www.zrcgf.com/store/Details.cfm?ProdID=26&category=0[/link]

for more information. Hope that's what you are lookin' for.

Well the price is right, but it's a little big for me. This is for a 1/5 Scale Goldberg Cub.

Looking for something relatively small.

But thanks anyway!

I could, but the Cub is sentimental. It was the first plane I built from a kit (not an ARF), and the plane I learned on. It's a nice deep burgendy color with creme trim, so it doesn't look like everyone elses cub.

Cheers!

There is someone who is doing the Gas ignition conversion on the Supertigre 90 engine. There are some mentions and photos of this version in the Vintage and Antique Forum in the Waco YMF thread. It may be listed on page 1 in the Table of Contents. If it's not listed there, it is in the first half of this very large thread (276 pages). It is there though.

The Webra 91 P5i gas engine may be what you are looking for. Webra has a solid reputation for building high quality engines and this one is no exception it seems.

I have heard only negative comments about webra gas engines. Problem seems to be their carb which is not that suitable for gas. Maybe if you replace it with walbro, but that needs some serious machining to fit one because prop would be really close.

I put a Frank Bowman piston ring in a Webra 1.20 for a friend. It now has more compression that it ever had and runs great! My friend has 3 Webra engines. He did need to use a electric starter...not now...more compression! Capt.n[
