Hucknall MAC Jet Weekend
I went along to the Hucknall MAC jet day, the weather was not too bad between the showers, the organisers and pilots put on a good show with lots of flying, I believe the first picture is Pete Emerson with his Flash climbing out with the Rolls Royce facility in the back ground.
Ali was in attendance with a fair selection of models, he put on his usual superb display with gas Turbine Glider, against a stormy sky.
Regards
Alistair.

Thanks to the Hucknall club for their efforts, and hospitality. It was a pleasant surprise to get so much flying in, considering the forecast. Nice and laid back and a great group of friends made it a day to remember. I even fitted some exercise ( Well thats about as close as I get to exercise ) in with the discuss glider! Wow that was fun!
it does look like I forgot to throw the glider and let go of the TX in one of those shots, but it was in fact me doing the manual labour for one of my lazy friends!
Cheers for the great photos Treadstone...
Regards Al

What happened to the radio that was in his left hand?

The photo depicts part of a stunning ballet style routine enacted by the two aviators...The lead launcher dispatches the glider and at the same time lobs the Tx rearwards to the other partner .....
Sort off ...

I'm a member of the Rolls club and was surprised (and delighted) to see Al and gang there... Must go to more club nights. Great display as usual. Although I missed the last part of the glider flight due to an umbrella malfunction. Jeez did it rain Oh and nice landing with the Mig Al.
