REVO TRANS
ok a friend of mine bought a used Revo, sometimes when is cruising around the trans will stick in second gear until he puts it in reverse then will work ok for a little bit.. any sugeestions it is a bone stock revo

Check the manual, it tells how to program it. If he does'nt have one you can probably find out how somewhere online and if not I have one that I can ship to him as long as he pays the postage costs.

You want to turn on your truck and transmitter and hold down the set button on the opti drive untill the light blinks green twice (about three seconds) at which point you let go of the button and hold the trigger down all the way untill the light blinks three times. Let go the trigger and the light will turn soild green....good to go.

Take it out. Its primary fumction is to stop you from putting the truck in reverse or forward without a complete stop. If you can follow that rule then you'll have a pretty paper weight. That it out. You wont ruin anything unlees you slam it in reverse or forward while going the opposite direction. The least amount of stuff you have on the truck the less problem.
