Is it possible to put a norvel .074 in the kamdax unit? Anyone out their tried this???

If I remember correctly the 074 would turn a larger prop but it wouldn't really turn faster in the DF unit due to the intake/exhaust timing.

Try doing a search. My recollection is that the 074 would fit in the fan unit with some modification, however as Irb75 mentioned it would not turn the fan any faster. Apparently the 074 reaches its max power at a lower rpm than the 061.
