which motor for revo
i have dubed my trx 3.3 a piece of s@#$. i recieved the truck in supposedly great condition and have already put 200+ into the truck. should i convert the damn thing to electric or change the motor since it is the only problem. if so, what motor should i get. i want to stay under 200 and want it to be a direct drop in with what i have already

don't convert to electric!!!! the os.18tz is a good engine you could prolly get 50mph, the os.18tm is good engine but it's not as fast as the tz. but the tm is discontenude but you can find one on ebay every now and then, but the os motors are good, and both morors are under 200 bucks.

well can i use the same flywheel, clutch, etc and wont i need to spin the carb around? this is what your talkin about right?

yes this is it! you just spin the carb a little and there you are!
of course you can use the clutchbell but you will need an extra hard because after one race everything is going to be smashed! for example the factory clutcbell with the spur gear, the gearbox from the inside and your factory clutch shoes!!!

a picco .26 red dot is made for the revo and i think for the price it is the best all around they take a wile to break in and wake up but after a gall or so they get nasty one more choice is a .18tz it is about 80% ready to go you just have to mod 2 things #1you have to cut the crank down to fit the clutch nut adapter and#2you have to buy a tmax linkage for the carb because it is a slide not pull carb ,if you have any questions i can send pics of my setups i have a tz in one truck and a red dot in the other .
