Getting Back to RC
I have decided to get back into rc, i currently own a t-maxx 2.5, which has been sitting in the garage for the last year, and was used alot the year before, i have been buying some parts for it to get it up and running again, but i was wondering what viscosity shock oil to use and also how much will i need to do the 8 shocks. The truck will be used pretty much just for bashing. and if anyone could recommend an other bits that might be worth getting, as the truck has not moved for the last year. Thank Rob

RE: Getting Back to RC
I heard someone say they use 30wt shock oil in their savage, they do this because it has 8 shocks. This wont make it hard but it will still be kinda mushy? I dont know.
If you choose to follow my advice dont blame me if something sucks because i suck at shocks lol.

Ok, here is what you want to do on a vehicle that has been in storage for a while
Get fresh fuel
Replace fuel lines
Get a new glow plug
Put the new fuel line and glow plug in, pour some new fuel into the gas tank and you should be ready to go. As far as the shock oil, a 30wt is a good shock oil to use. One bottle of shock oil should fill all 8 shocks, get 2 to be safe. Other then that, you are good to go!
