Default Cutting decals and designs

Couple of fellow fliers have PM about how I cut out the decals on the BH T-28. I have an old drafting table that I bought a piece of "Safety" glass the size of that I cut all my covering and trim on. I went to my local glass dealer and asked for his advice on the best to use and this was his recommendation. It is the same glass tha is used on glass top tables and does not scratch easily. Been using the same glass for 10 plus years and not a scratch on it.

Cutting compound curves is a dream, sharp edges and smooth cuts, since the knife does not imbed itself in the under layer.

Give it a try you will be glad you did.

Thanks, good advice and I never tried it. Doesn't it dull your hobby knives a-bit though?

Yes and no. You will find your blades last a lot longer than cutting on any other substrate.
