I'd pass, looks to be a knock off at best and parts availability would be non-existent.

If you have your heart set on a Super class crawler, maybe the Red Cat would be a better option?

I know If I were looking to build a Super, I would get the XTM X-Crawler.

those tires don't look that good. how soft are they?. i also don't like the lower shock mounts i can see them slipping over time. it's not bad looking but looks like it could can use some improvements.

Just got one of the Jeep versions,

The one on the top of this thread is on my box as "coming soon".

But it looks to have the same chassis and everything else, just a different body shell?

So far its brilliant, although its not been out of the garden yet.....

Cheaper than the AX10 here in the UK.

Hi,
Yep, got it for £161.99 - delivered....
From here - http://www.thegoodiesmartrc.co.uk/hs...ler-4105-p.asp

UK based online shop, and it was delivered in 48 hours of the order.
The advert has ******** on the controller, but mine does not, and its more on their site...

Hope that helps,
Drew

Hi CrocEnd,
You will have to post some pics - seen it available in the USA with different bodies and my box shows 2 body types as "coming soon".

Tip:
Watch the axles where they join the gearbox casing - managed to break mine and have had to repair it, while waiting for spares to arrive.

May look in to adding some braces - similar ones to the Clod has to have.

I recently won a very used Gmade spider.... just waiting for the postman to deliver it.

Well done and look forward to your thoughts - for the price in the UK, I cant fault the HSP 1./8th crawler.

Oh yes, and the Gmade Spider alloy lower suspension links look like they will be a direct fit - they are ordered, so should be able to confirm soon.

Brilliant mate,
Make sure you check the wheel nuts too, had one that was not tight..

Even with the hard tyres, they still climb really well.
Removing some foam may help?

Still waiting for my parts to arrive, so can add the rear wheel steering.

Have fun.
